Innofest 2021
Centre for Innovation, Incubation & Enterprise (CIIE) at SPPU & Pimpri Chinchwad Startup Incubation Centre (PCSIC) jointly conducted this mega event for benefit of Entrepreneurship & Startups in & around PCMC, Pune area.
This event was Online with 3 main competitions as main part of event..
I2E (Innovation to Enterprise)
This competition was mainly for final year college students in & around PCMC & Pune area. (Though all over Maharashtra) students participated in this event. We got 200+ entries where our Juries drill down to 85 in first round & then drill down to 35 in 2nd round. All these rounds happened online with use of Zoom platform. This was very interactive. All 35 successful teams went through Bootcamp process from 24th to 26th Feb 2021. This bootcamp was also online with Zoom & here we have Bootcamp speakers from all over areas starting from Marketing, sales, operations, Finance who guided these college students & fine tune them from point of making them Entrepreneurs in future life.
Hackathon
Our Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) had identified some sectors of PCMC where citizens can give a problem statement & also give PCMC effective solutions for the same problem. For this event we got 108 entries of which 96 entries were from Waste management & environment & 12 entries from Health Technology.
Pitch Fest
This was specially for Startups only. This gave Startups to present their product or services in front of large group of potential customers online as well as offline. We got 65 entries for this round from which our juries identify 15 Startups which have potential to grow further. From CIIE & PCSIC we will be offering these 15 Startups incubation entry to our incubation centre.
